The Misc. Paintings Gallery

Painting whose subjects don't really belong anywhere else.

Friend In Need - by C.M. Coolidge - 1910. It's the famous dogs playing poker apinting that has horified the world.
Waterloo - By C.M. Coolidge - ? - He apparently painted hundreds of these, maybe thousands. In this one, one of the dogs has just run out of luck....(Thankfully, he couldn't make one of them playing strip poker)
St. George and the Dragon by Carpaccio - 1502-1508 - Depicts St George, his horse, and a dragon playing poker. Well, close - fighting.
The Temptation of St. Anthony by Hieronymous Bosch. Wasn't exactly sure where to put it, so I put it here. It's somewhat aproprite to put on the same page as CM Coolidge's stuff, although after viewing some of his other works, I think Coolidge's stuff is even more hellish and twisted than Bosch (especially New Year Eve in Dogville - <shudder>) Added August 12th, 2000
Garden of Earthly Delight by Hieronymous Bosch.
