All files on this site are zipped. You will need an unzipping program to use them. Most large software sites have them (ZDnet, Jumbo, etc). I like winzip a lot (www.winzip.com)

You should unzip the files into the \Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Downloads folder for obejcts.
Skins go in the Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Gamedata\skins folder.

If you are having trouble with the zip files being corupt, it's probably because you're using a download manager, and they seem to have trouble with this site (Gozilla anyway). Disable it, and try again. I've checked all the zip files, and they are okay.

If you're having trouble with the Tranmogrifier, visit it's site for help (www.lushcreations.com/SimTools/)

If you want to make paintings yourself, I'll eventually have a tutorial, but here are some quick tips:

You need to use deformation functions (in a paint program) to get the painting in an isometric view. I use horizontal perspective a little bit (3), then skew (about 20). The skew actually depends on the dimensions of the original painting, so it will require trial and error. The perspective deformation might not be necessary, but I had trouble getting the right fit without using it. YMMV.

The 2 two B&W landscape painting is a bit tricky, because the Transmogrifier won't correctly make the smaller zoom levels automatically. So what I do,is clone it, export it twice (one with 1 zoom level, 1 with all), make the painting for the 1 zoom level, import it in, then export it out for all zoom levels, then cut and paste all the zooms you get from that into the all zoom levels you exported at the begining, then import that in.
